We invited two people in from different religions to talk to us about their opinion on pollution and the environment.

A story that a Muslim said begins like this: One day there were two boys who were playing by a well full of rubbish. One fell in and died instantly because of the carbon monoxide.

This is what the Buddhist said: The environment is like a big net covering the world. If one country pollutes another country gets affected. The Buddhist told us that in a place called Tibet there was no pollution at all but now they are the worst place to pollute! (affected by pollution).
And this is another story:
There was a man on the beach and the tide was in. Tonnes of starfish were washed up on the shore. One by one he picked them up and carefully threw them in the sea. Another man came along and said "why are you wasting your time, it's not going to make a difference!" so the first man said “It will to this one,” and he picked up a starfish and threw it back into the sea, “And to this one,” doing the same again. This small thing meant that even a small act can make a difference.

Religious people believe their god created earth and they should look after it.

Our opinion
We think that different countries sometimes care for their world. However, some do not take care and dump rubbish and stuff on the floor. But it's your opinion - it's up to you.
